Program, Fees & Squad Selection
Amended 27/6/24
Yorkshire RTC are a 'Not for Profit' club. The 'like for like' fees (Registration and Monthly Subs) are therefore lower than other JPL clubs in the region as they are calculated to cover running costs rather than to make a profit.
However, we are aware that the running costs required to provide a structured training program, UEFA qualified coaching, quality 3G & Grass facilities, Junior Premier League football and a clear progression/development route are significant which could make the programme inaccessible to some parents .
We are keen that no player should be disadvantaged due to financial circumstances and so can offer flexible payment options in circumstances of financial hardship
THE TRAINING/DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Our Training and Games program is based on a twelve month cycle from September to August incorporating the Season (Sep to May), Post Season (June to July) and Pre Season (August) periods.
The fees also take into account the three holiday breaks which are Christmas/New Year (two weeks), End of Season (two weeks) and Summer (two weeks).
SQUAD SELECTION
During the Post Season period (June to July) our current players and new trialists may be offered a JPL Player (Training & Matches) or Shadow Player (Training Only) role for the forthcoming season.
We recognise that any selection period can be an anxious time for both players and parents. It's also a difficult time for the coaching team as they are asked to make difficult selection decisions in order to create competitive teams to compete at the highest level the advanced Junior Premier League.
All players and trialists will be contacted regarding next season during the June to July period. Please feel comfortable to contact any member of the YRTC Committee if you need any information or support during the Post Season selection period.

*REGISTRATION FEES
The costs to get a new season up and running in the Junior Premier League are significant including JPL Team Entry, Affiliation, Insurance, GotSport Registration fees etc.. The Registration Fees to cover these costs for the 2024/25 season are therefore: -
JPL Player - £105 (includes £5 for Gotsport Registration)
Shadow Player - £85 (includes £5 for GotSport Registration)
*TECHNICAL AND TACTICAL TRAINING TIME
The training time for the U7s to U9s age groups is shorter than the older age groups so it is appropriate for the fitness and concentration levels for each of the younger age groups.
KIT
Parents are able to purchase the Match Kit and Training Kit from the Puma Club shop via the following link:-
Although the Clubs Kit Shop offers 20% off the normal retail price it's recognised that the cost purchasing all the kit items together could seem expensive to some. The club therefore has spare kit items that can be loaned to a player so they are able complete in matches and feel part of the squad in training.
The main kit items that should be purchased 1st are the Navy Blue Jersey, shorts and socks as these are worn as the default kit for home and most away matches and in training sessions.
